What type of float tube should I choose

I was recently asked why would you choose a standard float tube or a Hybrid float tube.  Here is was I said for a response.

I believe that it is really up to the individual and their personal needs and wants.  I can see that is a fisherman that float tubes a few times a year would see value in a basic bladder type float tube.  You would not have to spend a lot really under $200 and you are in a great tube that will do great.

But if you are like me and when you fish it is from a float tube then they hybrids are the boats you should be looking for.  They are pricy, but you know the old saying you get what you pay for.  They Hybrid boars have no bladders and are made of PVC or Hypolone materials.  They are long lasting materials so if you take care of them they will last you for years to come.

This is just the basic and there is more to this than this but, simple food for thought here guys are you a die-hard tuber.  Or are you just the type of fisherman that loves to break out a tube for the trout opener and maybe once or twice more for the year.  Once you understand this about yourself you can make a better choice Standard or hybrid.

Classic Accessroies Colorado Pontoon Boat

   

      I had the pleasure of give one of these boats away on our Float Tube Fishing Forum just recently.       It is a fairly easy boat to build as I was able to have it together in the my living room with in an hour.  Being the first Pontoon boat I had built I figure that is not to bad.  you start with the pontoons and inflate to almost full capacity.  The combination quick inflation/ deflation valves made inflation quick and simple these are a great improvement on the basic valves you still find on float tubes.  After the pontoons are inflated you then are able to add the mounting assembly to the pontoons  which is used to attach the seat to as well as to have have the pivot spot for the oars.  

      Next you add the seat assembly which is simple attached with pin system assembly which make it easy to assemble and disassemble.  Then you attach the back basket and anchor arm.  This piece has both a anchor pulley and a plate to mount a trolling motor to.  Finally you need to attach the foot resets and add the oars and you are ready to go.  Overall I believe this Pontoon boat is a great product from Classic Accessories.  If you are in the market for a 9' pontoon boat this is one you might want to look at.  Below is a list of spec's that  you might find helpful in making your discussions.

Float Tube Forum Members Rock

My wife and I have for the last 11 years, been dealing with our 2 youngest kids and there medical needs.  It is a long story one which I have told a lot but now it has come to us needing to head out to Texas for some special research.  The cost of all the medical visits and medications has, cost me, last year 67% of my income.  So needless to say it has been hard for the last 11 years for us all.  Our kids are doing well we just need to continue to fight to try and find out what the issue truly is and hope that we can get a diagnosis.  If you would like to read more about this check out my other blog ( http://brucekatieb.blogspot.com ) It explains what we have been dealing with as best as I could explain.
